Beachbody Fit Clubs

I wanted to put together what a Beachbody Fit Club consists of since I’ve had some folks asking.

Basically the fit clubs are run by one or a number of Team Beachbody Coaches  and they are for others to have the opportunity to sample what Beachbody has to offer not only in terms of workouts but supplements and nutritional’s as well.

The Fit Club could be held anywhere ranging from someones house to a rec facility, hotel or as in my case a volunteer fire house.  All fit clubs are free of charge to guests, however donations could be given or support from other coaches could be asked for.

We usually use Cardio type workouts for the fit clubs so no equipment is needed, however if there is some type of resistance workout or one that some floor work may be done with, usually a note advising either to bring a resistance band or yoga mat will go out so everyone will be prepared for the upcoming workout.

I try to incorporate the best I can a least one workout from each program so people can get a good idea of what’s available to them trainer wise as well as workout wise.

Beachbody offers programs for a wide range of ages and physical abilities.  Some of the “beginner type” workouts would be ones such as Slim in 6, Turbo Jam or Hip Hop Abs, to more “intermediate” workouts such as RevAbs or”extreme” workouts such as Turbo Fire, P90X or INSANITY. These are just a couple of the many workouts available but this gives each participant to find their “soul” workout in the Fit Club.

After the workout depending on the number of people and where it’s help sometimes there are sampling of P90X Recovery Formula, or Shakeology two of the many supplements and nutritional products that Beachbody produces.

The Beachbody Fit Club is a chance to meet new friends and you’ll get the support of the coaches and others involved to help you reach your fitness goals.

If  you would like to go to a Fit Club, all you have to do is sign up for a FREE  Team Beachbody account if you don’t already have one and on the “Supergym” page on the right  side is a Fit Club Finder, put in your zip code and you’re all set to be able to find your “soul” workout.

Some people after getting involved with the workouts also decide to become coaches or become certified in some of the workouts that have certification available, such as P90X certification  or certified in TurboKick which is what Turbo Jam and TurboFire are based on.

If you would like to check out my Team Beachbody site just click here and you can browse the products to see what’s available.

Any questions feel free to contact me and I’ll be glad to help you get started on your fitness journey.

2012 Beachbody Coach Summit is coming :)

Well another year has passed and it’s that time for the 2012 Beachbody Coach Summit.

This year the Beachbody Coach Summit is in Las Vegas since we had too many people for LA to handle.

This is awesome event when coaches from all over the country get together to meet, workout, learn about new products anywhere the company is going and also a chance to celebrate folks that have had great transformations.

In the following video are a few words form CEO Carl Daikler about the Summit and few glances at last years….take a look.

This is also a time when we as coaches get a chance to work out with all the trainers such as Chalene Johnson the trainer of Turbo Jam, TurboFire and Chalean Extreme fame, Brett Hoebel of Revabs and was also one of the trainers on The Biggest Loser a few seasons ago, Leandro Carvalo of Brazil Butt Lift, Debbie Siebers of Slim in 6, Shaun T from Hip Hop Abs, Rockin’ Body INSANITY and ASYLUM fame and also Tony Horton of Power 90, P90X, P90X2 and I’m guessing this year they will also have someone there from the Les Mills Pump program too.
This opportunity happens to work out with all the trainers in one place and the Coach Summit only happens once a year, so for coaches new and old this is always a great time.

This is also the time when we as Coaches get to learn about the newest developments, products and promotions that will be available or coming soon.
It should be great event this year and I’m looking forward to see what’s new.

I’ll do another write up on the Summit after returning, but in the meantime any questions about the upcoming Beachbody Summit feel free to contact me.

REVABS- The 4×4

For those folks that have done RevAbs there is now a “bonus” workout that is included called The 4×4 that you can purchase separately.

The 4×4 is 4 rounds of exercises, each round consisting of 4 moves that you do for 1 minute each. For those that have done P90X2 it’s kinda like doing one of the P.A.P. workouts in that you do a round take a short break, then the next round etc. till the workout is complete.

Below is a little more of a description from my Team Beachbody Site:

In this high-intensity, low-impact workout, Brett brings you another level of ab sculpting, including some of the hottest capoeira-based strength training and cardio moves straight from Brazil. All you need is a 4 x 4 space and your own body weight to help you burn off the fat and reveal tight, toned abs—all while strengthening your whole body.

My take on this workout, it’s a total body workout having you work in the plank/pushup position, sit-up type work, with some familiar moves from the RevAbs workout. This is not an “easy” workout, but is a good challenge and fun.

If you have any questions on this or any other RevAbs workouts feel free to contact me.
