Easy Tips To Get Fit

Most people know that they have to exercise and eat right, but what else do they know about fitness? Fitness is an entire lifestyle and in some instances, it is a major lifestyle change. A good way to make sure you routinely do as much as you can to get fit is to take a friend to the gym with you. When you take friends to workout with you they not only make sure you don’t slack on going to the gym, but they help motivate you when you’re there as well. Working out together also relieves the stress and anxiety of going to the gym alone. 
If you want to save money on Gym fees you con also workout at home, find a free Fit Club or set one up yourself. This saves time and money driving to the gym and you can do the workouts in the privacy of your down home if that’s more comfortable for you.

Fit Test

Test your maximum to make it seem easier, in other words do a Fit Test. In some home workout programs such as P90X, Chalean Extreme, INSANITY or even Tai Cheng, this is something you do before beginning your workout program so you have a “starting point”, and once finished you repeat the Fit Test to see the improvement that you’ve made either inflexibility or number of reps that you can do. You can do the same in a gym setting if you know the program that you’re going to be doing or part of the body you’re going to be focusing on, then in an allotted amount of time you redo it and check the progress you’ve made.

Muscle Confusion

Change the exercises around that you do often. By alternating exercises, you will avoid boredom and prevent your body from plateauing. Combine high intensity exercises like kick boxing with low or medium intensity exercises such as walking or jogging. Keeping it fresh will keep you interested as well as helping your body.

Warm Up and Cool Down

A great fitness tip is to not workout when it’s too cold without thoroughly warming up the muscles. When it’s cold, you’re muscles need more time to warm up. If you don’t properly warm your muscles up, you can risk getting seriously injured. Always be sure to warm up thoroughly when it’s cold.
Just as important as warm up is also the “Cool Down“. The reason this is so important is because now the muscles are warm and they are more flexible. By doing stretches after a workout the muscles are looser and much more flexible, so stretching at this time can help with becoming more flexible and also help from getting those muscle cramps afterwards.

Some other quick tips

Before you start lifting, you should press one of your fingers into the bench to see if you feel any wood. You should find another bench to work with if you feel any. Hard benches have been known to cause misalignment of your spine and to cause some damage to the nerves in the arms.

Even something as simple as a ten minute walk can raise your spirits, relieve tension, and get your energy levels up. If you can’t walk during the day, take a friend along for an evening walk, and you can also burn calories from your dinner while you’re at it.
