Chalean Extreme, on the road workouts, Lean Phase Week 2
Week two is complete now of my “on the road workouts” of Chalean Extreme Lean Phase week 2.
The progression this week, was small but I feel there was some.
I once again varied the use of the resistance bands as needed to be able to keep the correct form, Lean circuit 2 the last exercise was one of those, along with the plank with single arm row I had to change a bit because of using the bands and it hurting my hand when doing this to not use the band and just did the single arm plank and row without the band.
Lean Circuit 3 I was fine with using the dumbbells since I was home and the push up side planks was able to get out the additional push ups that I fell short of last week.
As mentioned in the last blog, I changed up the Burn It Off workout for the additional workout included Turbo Jam Fat Blaster. I actually like the change up of the workout as the Burn It Off was starting to get “old” and the Turbo workout is only 30 min.
I’m down to two weeks left of the Lean Phase and will be working hard to keep the muscles toning.
As before I’m keeping up with my Shakeology regimen since seeing the benefits of it for me and on the harder days still using the
P90X Recovery Formula, but only have been using 1 scoop and it seems to be doing the trick. Also still having a P90X Protein bars for snacks but limiting it once a day and been having a little more fruit snacks this past week.
Next week I have some training for work I have to do so should be able to get in the workouts, and may just change up the time the workouts are done depending on the time I get up since I won’t be getting in at late hours.
So with two weeks to go in this phase we’ll see how it goes.

Chalean Extreme Lean Phase Week 1
As I continue my “on the road” workouts I now begin the Lean Phase of Chalean Extreme.

The training schedule is the same as the previous phases doing however using the “Lean” workouts. Also Extreme Abs is now a regular in the rotation now after Burn intervals.
So the changes in this phase is now the Reps are back up to 10-12, and the workout length is up to 40-45 min for the most part.
In this phase there are more “plank” type exercises whether they be plank or pushups.
Circuit 1 and 2 I did while on the road so used resistance bands and Circuit 3 I did at home so used my free weights which this is where I really noticed most of the plank and push-up work.
To change things up a bit I think instead of Burn It Up there was a Fat Blaster Turbo Jam workout included and I think I will do instead to keep things “fresh”.
While on the road I did keep up with my Shakeology, and brought some P90X Recovery Formula with me and also brought some P90X protein bars with me to have as snack during the days I was out on the road.
With the workouts being a little longer it will make it a little bit more of a challenge to get them in because of my work schedule this week, but they will be done and I will not miss them.

Chalean Extreme Push Phase Week 4 Complete
Well the completion of the Push Phase of Chalean Extreme is complete.
It’s been a tough week due to some family issues, but did get in all the workouts and completed the phase.
This particular week I haven’t really kept track of my eating as I’ve usually do, and may have even put on a couple of pounds, but will be back on the wagon once things get back to semi-normal.
The one consistent has been drinking Shakeology which I will continue to drink since it has made a difference in my overall health getting my blood levels to where they should be.
The changes this week, don’t know if there was too much, but as mentioned in previous blogs I still do see what seems to be some more definition in my arms and shoulders and as I progress into the Lean Phase we’ll see what new changes are at hand.
